Justice for AllThe day that eveyone has been awaiting has finally arrived.
On September 30, 2008, Gary and his two infamous black dogs stand trial. We all get to see what punishment awaits an owner
who has no respect for his dogs or the people that live around him. A day that will finally bring tranquility to the people
that have arisen each morning and asked themselves.."when will this all come to an end; when will the terror and the
killing of our pets stop". September 30 is that day...a day long awaited by the citizens of Port Colborne primarily the
owners of little "Gnocchi" who lost him in such a brutal manner. One thing that lifts the pain from our hearts is
the thought of maybe Gary facing the four walls of a jail cell for whatever time at all...so that he will have time to reflect
on what he caused the people in this city. He will never feel the loss of his dogs once they are destroyed because they were
not pets to him but rather tools of destruction. Let us all hope that he shall never be the owner of another dog in his lifetime.
Dogs give you back the love you invest with them and it is more than obvious that Gary didn't know the meaning of love
for his dogs. Let us all remember September
30th as Gnocchi Day...the little Yorkie that brought to justice three elements of society that will no longer control the
fear of the people around them.

A friend from the U.S.To Mario my dearest friend for many years on the net; when you sent the instant message
about Gnocchi, I also sat here and cried like a baby as I could virtually hear my friends voice, tears and pain. Even though
I never met the lil King,, I do know how much you have loved him and how proud you were when you got him. You were like a
proud papa of a newborn. It's one thing to lose your pet to health reasons, not that the pain is any different but the
circumstances of Gnocchi's death is a totally unacceptable thing. There are so many maulings by vicious dogs not
only on other animals but on human life also. I agree whole heartedly that things need to to change here in
the USA and there in Canada. To find out that these dogs had attacked others prior to this really makes the
hair stand up on the back of your neck. How many times does a vicious animal have to hurt or kill to have something done. To
Gary... since this isn't the first time your dogs have done this, you are useless and apparently have no respect for life.
What is also offensive is dogs aren't born to be mean and vicious but it is the owners that raise them to be that
way. Gary I hope you are haunted every second of your life for what happened to a poor defenseless dog but the sadder thing
is I don't feel you have a conscious and this doesn't affect you at all. Just let me say "May God have mercy
on your soul", because this time you have let your dogs affect the life of a very caring person and he will not rest
nor get over this in his lifetime and he will go to the end of the earth to fight for the rights of all the innocent animals
and humans mauled by dogs owned by people like you. How would you feel if this happened to you? It slipped my mind...
you don't care as your dogs have done this before and you did nothing to control them to prevent another incident. In the friendship of Mario, Danny and Silvia and the beloved Gnocchi I will do anything I can to help Mario with
his campaign on making a law about the punishment of people who have vicious animals and sit back and do nothing when
they attack and hurt others. In honor of Gnocchi I pray with all my soul that there will one day be a "Gnocchi
Law." That way the tiny lil mini yorkie, didn't die in vain, but rather died to make a statement to protect others
from this happening. It took me a few days to digest this tragedy and be able to clear my head to write a comment.
Shirley...I woke up this morning not expecting to find such a sweet comment in
my e-mail. Thank you my dear dear friend from myself and all of us here. We have shared alot of happy moments and very sad
moments together in the almost ten years that we have known each other. Together we'll find a way of getting over this
terribly sad moment also. The hurt will slowly get easier to deal with but you have my assurance...this is a crusade that
will never end. Bless you Shirley. Mario
